60 Years in Business

Family Owned & Operated

Generations of Antiquing Knowledge

Family Owned and Operated Antique & Home Décor Store Since 1961

It all began in the early 1950s when Hilton Dodgen Sr. opened the Hi-Do Service Station on Hwy 25 South. The full-service gas station and car lot was owned and operated by Hilton and his sons until 1975.

Over the decades, the building, once home to the service station, has seen a variety of family business ventures and additions made to the original structure. Hilton’s wife, Evelyn, started a business in 1961 that continues today as the Rainbo. Hilton and Evelyn always possessed a love of antiquities, fine furniture, unusual finds and porcelain from around the world.

Storefront

It was their love of collecting that led to the Rainbo Antiques eventually taking over the entire 10,000 square foot space that was once the old service station. Hilton and Evelyn’s passion for finding unique items and treasures is being continued by their daughter and granddaughter, Karen Dodgen Price and Melanie Price Darley. Both Karen and Melanie had the pleasure to grow up surrounded by antiques and opportunities to travel to see collections.

Today, they both enjoy helping their customers find the perfect piece at the Rainbo! As in generations past, the family continues to be devoted to meeting their customers’ needs, and as a result, interior design services are offered by Melanie to create a comfortable and personal touch in today’s homes.
